The object of the Gordano Valley Archers is to actively promote and encourage the sport of archery. We aim to ensure that participation in the sport and membership of the club will be open to all regardless of gender, disability or race

Sunday is our club shoot day. We run a beginners' session from 10.00am to 12.15pm, then the afternoon is the main club shoot. NB GNAS safety criteria must be met at all times.
Summer - 1.00 pm meet for 1.30 shoot. .
Winter - 12.15 pm meet for 1.00 pm shoot at the latest. Please arrive promptly so that we can begin shooting on time
After completing the beginners' course, all archers must join the club if they wish to continue shooting.
In line with the sport's governing body, the Grand National Archery Society (GNAS), membership runs from 1 October to 30 September each year. The fees for the current year are:
Juniors - £10.00
Adults - £75.00 (this
includes the affiliation fee of £45.00 (for 2009/10) paid to the GNAS (£35), Somerset County Archery Society (£5) and GWAS (£5). The fee to GNAS is for insurance, a copy of the quarterly Archery UK magazine and the running of the office at Lilleshall Sports Centre.

Each time an archer shoots, a 'boss fee' is payable:
£2.00 if using club bows and arrows.
£1.00 if using your own equipment.
