About the club

Gordano Valley Archers was founded in November 2004 at Gordano School, St Mary's Road, Portishead, North Somerset.

Although the initial intention was to create an after-school club it soon became apparent there was a large demand for archery in the wider community. The club has been successful in obtaining funding from outside agencies and we would like to take this opportunity to thanks Kira Kemp (North Somerset Council Community Involvement), Ron Enoch (Gordano School Sports Centre Manager) and Sophie Rich (North Somerset Council Life Long Learning Section) in securing funding and for their continued efforts on behalf of the club.

The club has also received a very generous grant form the Silver Jubilee Trust which supports the enrichment and enhancement of education at Gordano School.

For further details you can contact the Club Chairman, Paul Maines either by email or on 01275 842606.
